New Castle, DE - May 27, 2007 - It was a typcial Memorial Day weekend: hot, sunny and traffic was backed up on the Delaware Memorial Bridge as usual. However, this holiday weekend, motorists would be welcomed by a 33-foot statue of the Blessed Mother Mary on the side of the highway. Pristine audio was provided by BEL.com Event Productions for the Dedication Mass which featured a multi-ethnical showcase of choirs, dancing, music and liturgy. Not only could the statue be seen from a great distance, the services could be heard at just as great of a distance for the more than 1,000 atendees.
Bishop Saltarelli and others speaking were heard throughout the service thanks to the latest in wireless technology. The statue of Our Lady Queen of Peace is 33-feet tall and 15-feet wide, or, as sculptor Charles Parks stated, is "One big mother."

Newark, DE – October 29, 2005 – Twelve-time Tony Award-winning Broadway Musical “The Producers” won’t debut its film counterpart in theatres until Christmas Day, but attendees of a reception at the University of Delaware Gore Hall was given a sneak peak of the new film. Susan Stroman, five-time Tony Award winner and University of Delaware alumni, was awarded that night with an honorary doctor of humane letters degree not only for her work in “The Producers” and many other Broadway shows, but for her recent contributions to the university as well.
Stroman debuted a sneak peek of the film to surprised attendees and BEL.com was “behind-the-screen” to deliver reliable audio and projection. The large format widescreen display was a custom screen temporarily built into the wall of the facility and projected from the rear for maximum visibility. Displaying the movie footage provided by Universal Studios required the use of the Folsom ScreenPro PLUS, the latest from Folsom featuring High Definition video capabilities. Susan Stroman is a 1974 graduate from the University of Delaware and winner of over two dozen awards for her choreography work in various Broadway shows. Stroman has directed two films, “Contact” and “The Producers” as well as having made notable television appearances on shows such as “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. The film version of the musical features original Broadway cast members Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane as well as new cast members Uma Thurman and Will Ferrell. “The Producers” debuts in movie theatres nation-wide December 25, 2005. For more information on “The Producers” on film, visit The Producers Official Website. For more information on the ScreenPro PLUS and other Folsom video products, visit The Folsom Website. 1080p Resolution Is Misleading |

The claim of 1080p resolution in many HDTVs is
based on the number of picture elements, or pixels, visible when a
still picture is displayed on the screen, which is not the same as the
HDTV's moving picture resolution. While still images can look marvelous, 1080p moving images can look delayed and unnatural. So far I have not seen a LCD display that delivers good moving 1080p images. 1080p plasma displays are a better choice in many applications. Stay tuned....

Philadelphia, PA February 12, 2009 – It's opening night at the Annenberg Center and the pit orchestra, rock band and a cast of multi-talented actors are getting ready to set the stage on fire with singing, dancing and no-holds-barred parody humor. This isn’t the debut of the latest broadway sensation, although it may as well be - this is the 2009 Wharton Follies. The Wharton Follies show is a 33-year-old tradition at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Together, students and faculty work to create a comedic take on the past year at Wharton.

For the first airshow at New Castle in ten years, celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the DANG a unique and powerful line up was presented: the A-10 Warthog demonstration, the B-2 Spirit for a flyover, the F-22 Raptor, as well as the Delaware ANG's C-130 Hercules just to start. The
real stars of the show were native to New Castle County
Airport: the L-29 Delphi, the MiG-23 Fishbed, and the MiG-23 Flogger. A P-40 Warhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt and P-51D Mustang made appearances as well.
In all of this, everyone attending could hear the announcers in all their power thanks to BEL.com Event Productions' carefully engineered audio system. The system was networked and designed around the strict guidelines of the airbase while still maximizing coverage and efficiency.

Back in Sept. 2008, BEL.com Event Productions crew manned audio and video at St. Elizabeth Church in Wilmington, DE for the installation of Bishop Malooly into the Diocese of Wilmington. With hundreds in attendence, there was little room for the massive media crews covering the event. BEL.com not only provided audio for the people gathered there, but also audio and camera work for the media. Two BEL.com camera operators provided video footage for the television, radio and print crews from all over the region. The professional services provided by BEL.com Event Productions allowed the media to broadcast quality footage while leaving room for more guests to view the installation in person.
News crews have relied on BEL.com Event Productions for decades to provide audio and video excellence in reporting the news nationally and locally.
